Store Mobility Directed Voice Team Frontend Engineer

The skills and experience that would separate the top candidate include:
At least 3 years of experience with building cross platform mobile applications with Reactjs & React Native
Experience with CLEAN Architecture principles
Experience programming in reactive paradigm
Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide timely and effective solutions
Experience with writing effective unit, functional and E2E test cases
Experience with monitoring and alerting
Experience with Graphql
Experience with Firebase products especially Firestore
Fast learner, independent and self-motivated but also a good team player
The day-to-day responsibilities of this person will include:
Translating business requirements to code
Reviewing PRs
Guiding/Mentoring junior engineers on coding standards and quality
The project this person will be working on is:
He will work as a Frontend engineer on Store Mobility Directed Voice team. The team is responsible for the following products/features within the me@clientapp. Namely roster, texting and push-to-talk (PTT) mini apps.
The team makeup is:
Frontend Engineers React Native Engineers
Approved locations for this role are:
Sunnyvale, Dallas or Bentonville
A Client badge will be needed in the future.
If this is a hybrid or in office role, the candidate will need to come into the office for:
2 days a week (Wednesdays & Thursdays)
Candidates who will be working in Bentonville, AR, Reston, VA or some Texas locations must have a VendorSAFE background check completed.
This contract has the opportunity to extend or convert to an FTE.
Previously, candidates have historically fallen short in:
Poor communication skills
Inability to understand business and not following up to get clarity on requirements
Being too dependent on other engineers to get work done
Poor code quality, i.e., code is not maintainable
Job duties include:
Design, and develop Web and Mobile Web pages
Effectively collaborate with Product, UX, and Marketing teams Provide subject matter expertise for web and mobile web responsive designs
Follow web coding standard and guidelines
Implement product development strategies using Agile development processes
Qualifications include:
BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
