Your role and focus
Your passion:

You must have a passion to make disciples and change the world by being creative with mixing live sound, innovative lighting design, as well as assisting the many ministries here at Calvary Chapel with all of their Audio-Visual needs.

You will:

Assist in the maintenance and repair of all A/V equipment.

Assist in the setup and running sound for weekly events including church services, funerals, memorials, adult education, and women’s ministry; help maintain an inventory and upkeep of all AV equipment for all rooms.

Run sound, lighting, and video.

You have:

Excellent interpersonal skills, interacting with church body and staff professionally and well-spoken

Technological skills in computer, sound, lighting and video equipment

Willingness to learn about sound, lighting and video equipment and software

The ability to take direction and work with very little supervision

Flexibility with good time management skills

Able to build up a vibrant and healthy volunteer family and culture

What you are required to know

We are an EEO employer.

You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 75 lbs.

This is a Part Time (hours/week) hourly non-exempt position.

You will have to work evenings and weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.
