Position: Marketing Coordinator (Full Time)
Location: 909 East Main Rd. (Rte. 138), Middletown, RI 02842 (on-site required)
About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator is a dynamic, hands‑on role supporting the execution of integrated marketing initiatives across multiple facets of the business—including winery, brewery, dining, public events, weddings, and private experiences. This position plays a key role in bringing the brand to life through digital channels, content creation, and outreach marketing.
Schedule
Primarily Tuesday–Saturday, 9:30 AM–5:30 PM. Evening availability required for occasional events.

Newport Vineyards (est. 1995) is a family‑owned and operated beverage and culinary destination set on over 100 acres of preserved farmland. The property brings together award‑winning wines, craft beer from Taproot Brewing Co., the farm‑driven Farm & Barrel Bistro, and a robust calendar of experiences and events.
Primary Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
Manage and execute social media strategy across all brand platforms
Create engaging content including photography, videography, and copywriting
Plan, schedule, and publish content; oversee paid social campaigns
Monitor channels, respond to messages and comments, and engage with the community
Track performance and deliver monthly analytics and insights
Stay current on emerging trends and platform updates
Website & Digital Presence
Maintain and update website content including menus, events, hours, and products
Manage blog content and optimize for engagement
Submit and manage listings across local event calendars and third‑party platforms
Email Marketing
Design, build, and deploy weekly email campaigns
Manage subscriber lists and customer database
Analyze campaign performance and recommend optimizations
Events & Brand Representation
Coordinate and represent the brand at off‑site events including festivals and community activations
Assist with execution of on‑site marketing initiatives and events
Serve wine and beer as needed
Promotions, Partnerships & PR
Support development and execution of promotions and campaigns
Coordinate partnerships (including local hotels), collaborations such as content creators, and wine competition submissions
Assist with ongoing PR efforts and media outreach
Qualifications
Passion for wine, beer, food, and hospitality
2+ years of experience in marketing, hospitality, or a related field
Hands‑on experience managing social media platforms and creating content
Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with website management (WordPress) and email platforms (Mailchimp) a plus
Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator a plus
Customer service experience preferred
Must be available for evenings and weekends as needed
Additional Information
TIPS or ServSafe certification required (may be completed after hire)
Candidates will be asked to provide a sample of marketing work (photo, video, or campaign)
Compensation
Commensurate with experience, $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
