Marketing Operations Coordinator

The Marketing Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution and coordination of Red Roof's marketing efforts across teams, channels, and partners.
This role acts as a central connector within the marketing organization, helping to streamline processes, manage workflows, and ensure alignment across internal teams, franchise partners, and external vendors. The position works closely with the Senior Director of Marketing and Growth Marketing Manager to support department operations, project coordination, and performance tracking.
This is a highly collaborative, detail-oriented role that blends marketing execution, project management, and operational support to help the team operate more efficiently and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operations of the marketing department, ensuring projects and priorities stay on track
Coordinate workflows, timelines, and deliverables across marketing, sales, operations, and external partners
Help manage incoming requests from properties, FODs, and partners, ensuring timely responses and follow-through
Identify gaps or inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements to streamline team operations
Act as a central point of coordination across internal teams including Sales, Operations, Revenue Management, Distribution, and Franchise teams
Ensure alignment across initiatives and help connect teams to the right resources
Assist in resolving issues or escalating requests when needed
Support execution of SEO initiatives in partnership with the Growth Marketing Manager and agency partners
Assist with content coordination, on-page updates, and tracking SEO performance
Help monitor search trends, keyword opportunities, and competitive positioning to inform strategy
Monitor competitive set activity, including pricing, positioning, offers, and marketing tactics
Compile insights and summaries to help inform marketing strategy and identify opportunities
Support the team with ongoing market and performance analysis
Coordinate and develop presentations, decks, and internal materials for leadership and cross-functional teams
Support reporting needs by compiling data and organizing insights into clear, actionable formats
Maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and team initiatives
Assist in managing multiple marketing initiatives across channels, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
Track project status and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Support execution of campaigns and initiatives as needed across digital, brand, and property-level marketing
Act as a flexible, generalist resource across the marketing team, stepping in where support is needed
Assist with ad hoc projects, requests, and initiatives to support team priorities
