divh2Corporate Sales Account Executive/h2pThe Corporate Sales Account Executive is responsible for B2B sales for the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and events held at 313 Presents venues including suites leases and rentals, club seats, and other revenue-generating programs through constant dialogue via meetings, telephone, email and prospecting./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliResponsible for achieving both individual and team sales goals./liliFocus on generating revenue through corporate sales for new stadium and arena projects./liliSell a variety of products through B2B process, including Premium leases, rentals, club seats, group and season tickets/liliResearch, prospect and establish leads for corporate relationships through industry networking to achieve revenue goals./liliPrepare and deliver proposals and presentations to existing and prospective clients./liliCultivate new relationships and optimize existing accounts through outstanding customer service to drive revenue./liliCommunicate status of sales with the Director of Corporate Sales by providing weekly pipeline updates and reports on sales activity to track individual performance and growth./liliEnsure client information is current, accurate, and updated in CRM./liliProcess ticket orders in a timely and efficient manner./liliMeet or exceed a minimum of 50-60 outgoing cold calls per day to generate new business./liliSet a minimum of 5 face-to-face appointments per week to generate new business./liliProvide first-class customer service to generate new clients and sales revenue, as well as repeat business and referrals./liliEnsure timely collection of payments, monitor ticket fulfillment and maintain detailed records on purchase history./liliPerform assigned game day responsibilities such as attending games to develop an understanding of events, meet clients to ensure they have a positive experience, as well as participate in any promotions or appointments as needed./liliResponsible for client entertainment at events (i.e. lunches and golf outings) and Suite hosting to cultivate business relationships./liliAttend industry related networking functions./liliAll other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor/li/ulh3Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/h3ulliBachelors degree in sports management, marketing communications or related field./lili1-3 years sales experience in sports/entertainment related, media or sales field./liliProven track record of cultivating B2B relationships and sales./liliPossess the highest integrity and ethical standards./liliAssertive, competitive, passionate, goal orientated and a strong work ethic./liliDemonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and negotiate creative solutions./liliHave a professional, respectful, and confident demeanor and interactions with colleagues./liliExcellent time management and organizational skills - must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments and sales./liliSelf-starter with ability to multitask and maintain deadlines in a high-paced environment./liliDemonstrated communication and presentation skills, with an ability to think and react to situations confidently./liliAbility to work long or unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed./liliMust possess knowledge of all Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint/li/ulh3Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:/h3ulliExperience in the sports or entertainment industry preferred./li/ulh3Working Conditions:/h3ulliIrregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays/liliExposure to high noise level/liliFrequent visual/auditory attention/liliWorking in an arena environment with varying temperatures/liliLifting equipment that weighs up to 25 pounds/li/ulpThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a colleague encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
