Overview

St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cherryville, is seeking a part-time Music Director and Organist.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Sunday worship.
• Direct weekly rehearsals.
• Select music and prepare worship materials.
• Collaborate with the pastor on weekly and seasonal services.
• Provide leadership for special events.
• Assist with church functions such as VBS.
• Encourage choir and handbell volunteers.

Qualifications

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Musical proficiency.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to teamwork.
• Experience with blended worship and audio/visual background is preferred.
