Senior Graphic Designer – Job Overview
If you're a designer with a cool, cutting-edge style who is comfortable with print, digital, video, and web design, we are looking to add you to our team!
Our ideal candidate will be able to create intriguing designs that can appeal to a diverse set of target markets which include law enforcement, city governments, schools, homeowners associations, and sports teams.
You’ll take our content and amplify it with just the right design elements, and can translate those designs into a magazine ad, brochure, a blog header, a LinkedIn ad, or a short video clip for social media. In addition, you have the organizational skills and attention to detail with regard to manuals and large documents. You stay current with the latest design trends, and are comfortable executing a project from a rough concept into a final deliverable.
You’ll be a strong candidate for this team if you are also confident in working as a part of a small, nimble team, and are able to both take direction from multiple in‑house clients and contribute new ideas to our projects.
Senior Graphic Designer – Compensation:
The compensation for this position is a combination of salary, medical, dental, and life insurance benefits along with a generous amount of paid time off. The annual salary for this role is $75,000‑$85,000.

Senior Graphic Designer – How You’ll Make a Difference
- Collaborate with members of the marketing team and a diverse collection of in‑house clients to produce print, digital, video, trade show displays, product packaging, and web content designs and updates.
- Create work that is consistent with our brand voice and strategy.
- Take ownership of the design role, meeting tight deadlines while requiring minimal supervision, while also being able to work cooperatively on larger projects.
- Be able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring that all work is delivered in a timely manner.
- Develop illustrations, logos, icons, and other design elements.
- Create social media content that appeals to a middle‑age, professional demographic, particularly for Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Optimize graphics and designs for web use.
- Update our website (WordPress + Shopify).
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner, showing up on time and bringing your A‑game to work each and every day.
Senior Graphic Designer – What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or related work experience
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
- 5+ years experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Working Knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, and content management systems a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Photography experience and proficiency with photo‑editing software a plus
- Video and editing experience using Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software
- Experience in developing Email marketing content and delivery
- Solid copywriting skills and headline development a plus
- A strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time‑management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training
