Job Summary:

In the role of Regional Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will include mentoring/managing the Sales Engineers and Service Rep(s), supporting the cultivation of new business opportunities within the Midwest Region (IA, IL, KS, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI) and growth of relationships for major accounts. You will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve their business goals by delivering product solutions you can take pride in. This position reports to our National Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the sales planning, forecasting and management of the region to meet or exceed annual sales targets
Coach, mentor and engage your sales and service team to promote their professional development and performance to goals
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Design and negotiate promotional sales and volume discount programs with regional distributor base
Regularly travel with sales team (25-50%) to distributors and end-user sites, assessing customer needs and offering solutions
Support the Regional Sales Engineer in ongoing technical training, new product updates, demonstrations, and promotions to distribution channel sales partners.
Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and presentations to enhance key account growth and engagement
Participate in trade shows, conferences as well as other marketing events to differentiate Lyndex-Nikken's high-quality and precision value proposition.
Support the utilization of our CRM for all prospecting and customer activities
Salary:

The salary for this position rangesfrom

$130,000 to $190,000

(including salary, bonus, and commission). Pay may vary based on individual knowledge, skills, expertise, and regional factors. We believe in pay transparency and are committed to offering competitive compensation based on your qualifications and the market value for the role.
