Job Description
Area Sales Manager, Animal Nutrition – United States of America & Canada F/M
Permanent Contract – Minneapolis
Reporting to our Sales Director, Animal Nutrition, you will oversee the commercial development of our specialty products in animal nutrition via distributors and in B2B in the United States of America and Canada.

Supported by our technical, marketing, logistics and quality teams, your main missions will be:

Be the face to the market representing our company and products in your area

Review and update our market approach if needed

Be curious, creative and agile for developing new business

Create and implement actions plan

“Farm” existing partners and actively convert prospects into new ones

Promote and develop the sales of our added value and cost-effective products

Support and train distributors

Develop B2B partnerships

Identify new targeted stakeholders

Guarantee customers’ satisfaction

Ensure the reporting of your commercial activity (CRM, monthly review)

A support from the Sales Director & the technical/marketing teams as well as an extensive onboarding will ensure you a fast adaptation.

Profile
As a self-starter and a strong entrepreneur, being market and results oriented, you like offering added value to your customers and you like developing business that way.

You appreciate being part of an international company and taking on responsibilities at an international level.

You preferably hold a degree in agri/agro engineering, biology, veterinary science, or international business.

A minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience is required, ideally in the field of animal nutrition. Experience with ruminants (beef and dairy cattle) is highly valuable.

Your key success factors include your entrepreneurial mindset, strong field presence (at least 50% of your time), ability to adapt to different stakeholders, persuasive communication skills, and persistence.

Eligibility to work in the United States of America is mandatory.
