We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sales Manager to support our dynamic sales team.

In this role, you will play a key part in proactively generating new business and driving revenue growth through strategic outbound sales efforts, account development, and market expansion across corporate, group, and social segments.

Job Duties

Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, outside sales calls, and industry events

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business and increase revenue

Identify and pursue new market segments, accounts, and demand generators

Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and consistent outbound sales activity

Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and business opportunities

Manage assigned accounts and market segments to meet or exceed revenue goals

Prepare proposals, contracts, and negotiations that maximize hotel profitability

Sell all facets of the hotel, including guestrooms, meeting space, catering, and events

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, planners, and key decision-makers

Expand existing accounts through proactive solicitation and upselling efforts

Represent the hotel through networking events, community involvement, and industry organizations

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, contracts, and account production in CRM systems

Track sales performance metrics, forecasts, and productivity goals while providing regular reports

Coordinate site tours, client walkthroughs, and support successful event execution alongside operations teams

Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to drive business results and guest satisfaction

Job Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or 2 years’ equivalent combination of education and experience

A minimum of 2-3 years’ hotel sales experience, previous experience in proactive lead generation in hospitality and sales discipline; knowledge of property-specific business segments

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservations systems, Lightspeed and CI/TY are a plus.
