Lead Craftsman

We are one of Kansas City’s top-rated handyman, repair and remodeling companies. We’re looking for a highly motivated Lead Craftsman with project management experience and multi‑trade skills to oversee a small crew.

Role Overview
A Lead Craftsman must complete quality repairs, lead crew members, maintain communication with customers, and manage job sites.

Responsibilities

Perform all types of quality handyman repairs including carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, plumbing, and electrical.

Lead a short crew, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to company standards.

Communicate with management, office personnel, customers, suppliers and property managers.

Maintain a clean‑cut appearance and present a good company image.

Manage tools and equipment required for various trade tasks.

Qualifications

5+ years of Master Craftsman experience.

Own truck or van and necessary tools.

Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.

Collaborative, optimistic, reliable and knowledgeable in multiple trades.

Proven troubleshooting and quick‑think problem‑solving skills.

Good communication skills across all stakeholder groups.
