As a Music Central Assistant you’ll be an essential part of the Contemporary Music Team, supporting Music Agents and Assistants. You’ll participate in an immersive 8‑week training program that equips you with the key skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the world of live music. This position is ideal for highly organized, data-focused individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and aspire to one day book tours for clients.

What The Role Entails

Handle incoming calls, coordinate meetings, and serve as a key contact point to ensure seamless team communication.

Provide critical support to Music Agents and Assistants by managing essential tasks that keep the department running smoothly.

Enter data meticulously into booking systems, maintaining clarity and precision that aids decision‑making.

Review and verify show contracts to ensure compliance and expand your knowledge of music‑industry agreements.

Provide Music Agent desk coverage for absent Assistants and manage overflow tasks to keep day‑to‑day operations seamless.

Assist with Music department initiatives, gaining exposure to various functions within the agency.

Participate in meetings and contribute to presentations, building relationships and fostering a team‑oriented culture.

Keep up with industry trends and best practices to support the Music department’s strategic goals.

Who You Are

Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional language fluency, especially Portuguese, is a strong plus.

Passionate about the music industry and dedicated to a career in talent representation, booking, and touring operations.

Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and new software.

Resourceful problem solver with a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong commitment to a career centered on music touring, booking, and talent representation.

Relevant coursework or formal education in Music Industry, Music Business, Entertainment Management, or Live Event Management is a plus.

Prior experience in live music booking, event planning, or similar roles.

Internships within the music or entertainment industry providing hands‑on experience and networking opportunities.

Proven administrative experience demonstrating precise and efficient task management.

Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data management systems.

Strong critical reasoning and resourceful mindset for informed decision‑making in fast‑paced environments.

Proactive attitude and ability to thrive in dynamic conditions, embracing change and continuous improvement.

Compensation
