What We Are Looking For:
Capelli Sport is looking for an entry-level Technical Design Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the Technical Design and Product Development teams by overseeing the day-to-day coordination of garment samples throughout the product lifecycle. You will be responsible for receiving and organizing samples within internal systems, taking precise garment measurements, and ensuring accurate information is maintained in PLM platforms. The position also involves assisting with the setup and execution of fit sessions, recording feedback, and helping uphold consistency in fit, quality, and construction across all product categories. Additional responsibilities include photographing samples for internal reference, maintaining visibility of sample status and seasonal style volume, establishing and updating style records, and facilitating the movement of samples between internal teams and external partners. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with Design, Product Development, and Production teams to keep workflows organized and projects progressing efficiently. This is a salary-based role with a minimum of 40 hours per week required.

About the Role:

Accurately log, track, and manage incoming samples within internal systems

Measure garments in accordance with company standards and input precise data into PLM systems

Prepare and facilitate sample fittings on forms, ensuring readiness for review

Capture high-quality product images and upload them to internal databases

Maintain and update sample order charts to ensure visibility and organization across teams

Support the execution of fit sessions, including documenting fit comments and updates

Ensure consistency in fit, quality, and construction standards across all product categories

Monitor seasonal style counts and support workload balancing based on category volume

Create and maintain style records, including generating new style numbers in the system

Coordinate sample requests and shipments to internal teams and external partners as needed

Maintain accurate tracking of sample distribution for fittings, reviews, and approvals

Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, and Production teams to support workflow

A college degree is a plus but it is not required as long you are willing to assist and learn.
