About Us:
Accessible Community is an organization focused on breaking down barriers and promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities. Our communication team produces a bi-weekly podcast that highlights stories, interviews, and issues at the heart of accessibility.
Role:
We’re looking for a Volunteer Video Editor to join our team. Your main job will be to edit podcast episode videos released every two weeks. You’ll work closely with our producers and hosts to ensure the videos are clear, engaging, and accessible for all listeners.
Responsibilities:
Edit and polish bi-weekly interviews - editing out pauses and breaks, adding captioning etc.
Collaborate with the communications team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
Work with accessibility in mind, ensuring video is clear and understandable
Suggest creative ideas to help us improve the quality of the content
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with video editing tools (like Adobe Premiere or others)
Strong attention to detail
Reliable internet access and ability to meet remote teams virtually
Interest in accessibility and amplifying underrepresented voices
Commitment to volunteering approximately 3–5 hours every two weeks
