Marketing Lead
Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Lead to spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the legal sector. This role requires a strong understanding of the legal industry's unique challenges and opportunities, enabling the creation of targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility, attract new clients, and strengthen client relationships.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with legal professionals, business development teams, and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and effective outreach. This role will oversee digital marketing initiatives, content creation, event coordination, and market analysis to inform strategic decisions. The Marketing Lead will also manage budgeting, reporting, and ensure compliance with legal marketing regulations and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Graphic Design
Develop visually engaging digital and print materials, including flyers, brochures, newsletters, blog posts, and social media content
Write and edit marketing content such as blog posts, email campaigns, and website copy
Partner with attorneys to create educational content related to estate planning
Social Media Management
Plan and publish content across social media platforms (primarily Facebook and LinkedIn)
Monitor performance metrics and recommend strategies to increase engagement and reach
Website & Email Marketing
Maintain and update the firm's WordPress website with current content, events, and blog posts
Create and manage email campaigns via MailChimp, including newsletters and client communications
Video Production
Plan, film, and edit short-form videos (educational, promotional, client-focused)
Distribute video content across website, social media, and email channels
Event Coordination
Support planning and execution of client events, seminars, and workshops
Assist with logistics, invitations, and follow-up communications
General Marketing Support
Maintain a marketing and content calendar
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics
Contribute creative ideas to enhance brand visibility and engagement
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
1-2 years of marketing or administrative experience (law firm or professional services experience preferred)
Proficiency with Canva, WordPress, MailChimp, and social media platforms
Experience with basic video production (planning, filming, editing)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Professional and polished demeanor suitable for a law firm environment
Compensation & Benefits
Full-time, exempt position (not eligible for overtime)
