How you will create an impact:


Strategic Focus Area



  • Develop and implement strategies across packaging, pricing, monetization models, product launch, sales force effectiveness, and customer base management.

  • Build, execute, scale, and manage project delivery leveraging a depth of content knowledge and client relationship‑building skills with expertise in the TMT sector.

  • Contribute to the growth of Simon‑Kucher’s TMT sector by driving client relationships, supporting thought leadership, identifying follow‑on engagement & business development opportunities.


Client Relationship Management



  • Develop and maintain trusted, credible senior‑level advisory relationships by delivering high‑quality, tailored recommendations and strategic advice that our clients can execute to realize benefits.

  • Effectively engage senior client audience at all stages of their commercial growth strategy, obtaining buy‑in for the recommendations.

  • Lead and manage client projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with client needs, driving project delivery, and managing costs, margins, and resources effectively.

  • Manage multiple engagements and project teams, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure team development and project success.


Thought Leadership



  • Develop and deliver new thought leadership content (white papers, research, case studies, frameworks, etc.) in collaboration with peers and partners in the TMT practice.

  • Be a leader in the firm and play an integral role in the evaluation and integration of new TMT consultants.

  • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our clients’ businesses.

  • Analyze existing processes and tools and recommend opportunities for continued improvement.


Team Leadership



  • Lead and mentor project teams to desired end‑goal by defining clear roles and responsibilities, demonstrating strong project management approach and execution cadence, and being the primary point of contact for client teams.

  • Create engagement work‑plans and guide the team through the project activities, including oversight of primary/secondary research, and qualitative plus quantitative analysis to obtain key insights, findings, and take‑aways for clients.

  • Define project goals, roles, and responsibilities while ensuring effective execution through strong project management practices.

  • Oversee the work and outputs of team members across multiple engagements, providing timely feedback and development support to junior consultants, balancing project timelines and deliverable quality.

  • Coach and develop consultants staffed on projects to develop data‑driven, innovative insights and actionable recommendations that deliver client impact.


Business Development



  • Actively participate in proposal development and pre‑sales meetings with potential new clients to address their needs, priorities, and challenges, while expanding SK’s commercial growth strategy footprint, offerings, and client base.

  • Support in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through lead generation, new content creation, participating in end‑to‑end proposal development, and client pitches.

  • Expand relevant new capabilities, tactics, and tools that our clients need to advance their business goals.


Your profile:


Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to be part of a growing, top‑tier consulting firm and becoming a partner/shareholder at the firm.


Education & Experience



  • An undergraduate degree is required; MS, MA, MBA, or other advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally in management consulting, serving the Technology, Media, & Telecom industry; Software and Internet sector specialization a plus.

  • Access to an existing network within the TMT industry in North America is a plus.


Skills



  • Proven expertise in growth & commercial strategy, packaging & packaging, monetization, marketing, value proposition development, distribution strategy, and sales force effectiveness.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to distill insights/take‑aways from large sets of data.

  • Effective ability to present and communicate findings and recommendations to a senior audience.

  • Demonstrated record of achievement in selling and managing new and follow‑on engagements.

  • Highly inclusive and empathetic approach to leadership and team management.

  • Proven ability to build, grow, and maintain a high‑performing consulting team.

  • Record of accomplishment of managing multiple engagements, including work plans, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work seamlessly and collaboratively with various stakeholders.


Additional Considerations / Preferences



  • Proven ability to build new thought leadership content.

  • In‑office or client site presence 2‑3 days per week in alignment with our hybrid working model.

  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.


Total compensation and benefits


Total compensation for this role includes base salary, performance bonus, eligibility for annual merit‑based increases, and a comprehensive benefits package.


The base salary range for this position is between $215,000 to $285,000 per year for U.S. roles. Specific compensation within these ranges will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and location. Salary ranges are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with market conditions.


Benefits for eligible employees include paid time off, 13 paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
