Role Overview
Join our team as the
web developer / system analyst
where you will be the technical expert for operating, maintaining, and developing information systems associated with the Transportation Project Tracker and Performance, Accountability, and Transparency and Performance websites. You will work with stakeholders to develop and document requirements, support application development, geo‑spatial application development and systems integration. In addition, this position participates in strategic planning and aids customers in resolving problems and issues.
A Day In The Life
Develop or modify software that automates new or existing business processes.
Build and test solutions within the current application development tools, markup languages, and application toolkits such as ASP.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, JavaScript (including frameworks such as React), the ArcGIS JavaScript API, and Python ExtJS.
Power BI Report development and maintenance.
Spatial data management with FME workbenches and other GIS tools.
Web content editing on SharePoint SE.
Provide data and systems examination to assigned projects.
Interview industry partners and record existing systems or requirements.
Provide web analytics monitoring and support.
Write and maintain procedure manuals.
Support distributed systems within multiple sites/branches.
Work in a standard office environment, primarily at a computer workstation, with hybrid work options available. 1-2 days per week required to be in office (usually Tuesday and Wednesday).

The salary range listed is the non-PERS monthly salary range. If you are already a participating PERS member or once you become PERS eligible, the salary range will increase by 6.95%.

Minimum Qualifications
Four (4) years of information systems experience in modern web and application development, geospatial technologies, data integration and enterprise reporting, OR an associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND two (2) years of information systems experience in modern web and application development, geospatial technologies, data integration and enterprise reporting; OR a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
What We’d Like To See
Experience with .NET Framework development (with particular focus on the use of ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft Identity through ASP.NET, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS).
Experience with React JavaScript, SQL database management, Git and Team Foundation Server for source code control, Azure DevOps for work item creation and DevOps Pipelines for deployment.
Experience with geospatial data and ETL tools like FME workbench and FME server, and the Esri ArcGIS platform.
Experience with Power BI report development and maintenance, Power BI Service Workspace management and SharePoint SE.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate with customers at the appropriate user level.
