IBM InfoSphere MDM Administrator

PST (remote)

Role Purpose

The IBM InfoSphere MDM Administrator supports the organization s master data platform by ensuring the stability, security, and performance of IBM s InfoSphere Master Data Management system. This role helps the business maintain accurate, consistent, and trusted customer, product, and reference data across applications and business units.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support IBM InfoSphere MDM environments across development, testing, and production.

Oversee system configuration, upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance activities.

Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high system availability.

Manage user access, security controls, and compliance with enterprise policies.

Support data integration teams by ensuring stable APIs, batch processes, and data flows.

Collaborate with data governance and business teams to enable stewardship workflows and data quality processes.

Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and environment standards.

Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience

Hands on experience administering IBM InfoSphere MDM or similar enterprise MDM platforms.

Familiarity with application servers (WebSphere or Liberty), relational databases, and Linux/Unix environments.

Understanding of data integration concepts, APIs, and batch processing.

Experience supporting enterprise applications in a multi environment setup.

Strong problem solving skills and comfort working with cross functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IBM InfoSphere suite components (Data Quality, Information Server).

Exposure to cloud environments or container platforms.

Knowledge of data governance, data quality, or master data concepts.

Relevant IBM certifications.
