PGS Worldwide is seeking a Program Scheduler in Fort Worth, Texas for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role provides planning and scheduling support across multiple mission requirements and locations, with a focus on integrated master schedule development, proposal support, and program performance analysis. The position works across engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production teams to help manage schedule performance, contractual impacts, and program execution.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience working on Engineering Manufacturing and Development programs

5+ years of experience with Critical Path methodology

5+ years of experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool

5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management

Demonstrated experience with IPMDAR

5+ years of experience with Milestones Professional software

Experience with schedule control processes, proposal development, internal and external audits, and project management integration

Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations

Demonstrated hands-on program planning and scheduling experience

Ability to work as a self-starter in a team environment

Preferred Skills

Experience working independently across technical teams while developing a basic understanding of the technical product

Experience with capture, research and development, and production scheduling requirements

Experience understanding dependencies between functions

What You’ll Do

Provide planning and scheduling support for multiple mission requirements across locations

Assist in development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule

Support proposal schedule development and statement of work and basis of estimate activities

Advise program management when contractual impacts are expected or when critical events occur

Identify factors that may affect delivery or cost

Ensure communication and cross-coordination with integrated product teams

Apply Critical Path methodology to schedule network development and analysis

Support development and refinement of earned value management knowledge and execution

Work across engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production organizations

Prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations as required
