What you will be doing as the Production Support Supervisor:

Oversee production support operations to ensure materials, processes, and workflows are properly executed to support efficient and accurate production.

Supervise personnel, coordinate daily activities, and ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement while supporting on-time production performance.

Lead and maintain an “on floor” presence for the Production Support team.

Set priorities, assign work, and monitor daily workflow.

Train, mentor, and evaluate employees; identify and address training needs.

Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.

Oversee label creation, cartridge/container preparation, filling, labeling, and packaging.

Ensure support materials meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Review batch tickets and troubleshoot discrepancies in finished products.

Ensure adherence to GMP, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor processes to ensure accurate, high-quality production output.

Oversee team compliance with operational and safety procedures.

Identify and resolve production issues related to scheduling, staffing, equipment, or quality.

Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to resolve operational challenges.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company standards

What you will need as the Production Support Supervisor:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or related field preferred

3-6 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience

Experience in a GMP-regulated environment required

Experience working in production support, packaging, or chemical/ink manufacturing environments preferred, including hands‑on experience with light machinery, labeling, filling, and packaging operations

Ability to lead, coach, and develop production support personnel

Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production schedules

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Ability to lift or move heavier materials (up to 75 lbs) with assistance or mechanical equipment

Ability to push, pull, and maneuver pallets, drums, and material containers using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, drum handlers)
