Web Developer

The Web Developer is a hands-on professional with strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end development languages, and an ability to translate our business needs into client-friendly functions that will expand our website’s influence in our industry. The Web Developer will be responsible for updating our DTLR, e-commerce web site, developing and maintaining internal company applications, as well as implementing usability testing processes to ensure that new applications meet our company’s requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ecommerce web site, and emails.

Extend and optimize Web functionality, user interface, and navigation.

Integrate ecommerce web site with 3rd party applications and interfaces.

Create solutions and implement internal software projects based on end user and department requirements.

Work with our creative team to scope and develop projects based off of adobe designs to maintain e-commerce web site’s front-end theme.

Work with our marketing team to promote discounts and events and assist them in creating analytics and events.

Independently scope work and complete objectives.

Technical Requirements

Knowledge of the Shopify Platform, Themes, Discounts, CLI, Plugins, Sales Channels

Git or other version control

Jira or other ticketing software

Familiarity with adobe products like Illustrator, Photoshop, or XD

Experience using 3rd party REST APIs

Knowledge of ADA compliance

Technical Preferred Skills

Claude or other AI Platform

Klaviyo or other marketing apps

MYSQL or other database experienceWork from home experience

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (Computer Science) or equivalent experience

3-5 years Web development experience
