Overview
We are seeking communications professionals with experience in the private markets space to join our growing team across the Account Supervisor, Associate Vice President, and Vice President levels. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in strategic communications and a deep interest or experience in private equity, private credit, and broader alternative asset classes. Depending on experience, individuals will take on increasing levels of responsibility across client leadership, strategic counsel, team management, and business development. All candidates are expected to demonstrate strong media relations capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
Scope and level of responsibility will scale based on experience and title
Lead and execute integrated communications programs, including media relations, thought leadership, and executive visibility initiatives
Build and leverage media relationships to secure impactful coverage and position clients effectively
Serve as a day‑to‑day client contact and, at more senior levels, as a strategic advisor to clients in the private markets space
Develop and oversee high‑quality written materials including press releases, bylines, presentations, speeches, and messaging documents
Manage multiple projects and ensure seamless execution across client deliverables
Provide strategic recommendations and solutions to address client challenges, including crisis and reputational situations
Participate in and lead media training sessions and support client interviews
Mentor and develop junior team members, providing feedback and guidance to strengthen performance and growth
Contribute to new business efforts, including participating in pitches, developing ideas, and identifying growth opportunities
Manage account operations, including workflow, resourcing, and, at more senior levels, budgets and financial oversight
Actively contribute to internal collaboration, brainstorming, and agency initiatives
What makes you qualified
Approximately 5–12 years of experience in communications, with flexibility based on level
Experience in financial services and/or private markets (private equity, private credit, alternatives) strongly preferred
Background in agency or strategic communications environments is a plus
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute media strategies and secure coverage
Strong writing and editing skills, with experience developing client‑ready materials
Experience managing projects and, at more senior levels, leading teams and client relationships
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in contributing to business growth and agency culture
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, or a related field

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000-$180,000. Other rewards may include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, new business commission, paid time off, and other benefits.
