Job Summary
PBS Utah is seeking a motivated and technically curious person to operate studio cameras, perform as a floor/stage manager, hang and point lighting instruments, and set up and strike studio sets. The candidate should have a solid understanding of television production techniques such as good framing and composition, and have the ability to remain calm under pressure during live television productions.

Responsibilities

Operate a studio camera for live and pre-recorded productions

Stage manage

Operate the studio lighting consoles

Help set up and strike studio sets

Assist with maintenance and cleaning of the studios and prop rooms

Communicate and work effectively with other team members

Maintain a safe, clean and professional studio environment

Follow all OSHA guidelines for ladder, lift and chemical safety

Perform all other duties as assigned by the Studio Production Manager

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum 1 year of experience in studio production or equivalent.

Preferences

Ability to climb a ladder and learn to use an electric lift

Ability to occasionally lift/carry 40 lbs
