Job Description
The Sales Account Executive is a client‑facing outside sales role operating within an assigned region of the New England states for Eurofins Built Environment Testing Division. The role involves identifying and managing client accounts, cultivating existing relationships, and bringing in new business through cold calling and territory outreach. Approximately 50% travel within the territory is required.
Responsibilities
Maximize market share, profitability, competitive advantage, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services market.
Establish and maintain productive relationships with Eurofins clients and coordinate internal teams to deliver customer needs.
Provide vision and acquire new accounts to sustain business growth by representing Eurofins services to new customers and markets.
Identify opportunities and profitable work by following up on leads, negotiating, and closing deals.
Develop and implement account plans, including revenue goals and specific client strategies, to attain regional quotas.
Manage sales forecasting, pricing decisions, and bid
o‑bid recommendations while coordinating with management and operations.
Track, qualify, and close leads to increase revenue and report sales activity within the assigned area.
Maintain databases and communicate customer needs to internal stakeholders.
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms, and prepare summaries of sales development activities as directed by management.
Qualifications
Degree in Sciences or related field preferred but not required.
Minimum 2–3 years progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the New England territory; approximately 50% travel with some overnight travel.
Experience or knowledge in environmental testing, especially indoor air quality (IAQ), USP797, or Legionella testing.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Experience designing sales and account plans and working knowledge of laboratory functions and terminology.
Proficiency with computers and analytical, planning, and self‑directed skills.
Requirements
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Additional Information
Salary Range: Minimum $70,000/yr base + Commission. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, paid time off, and dental and vision options. Salary may be higher for candidates with specific experience in indoor air quality testing.
Location & Travel
Full‑time role, Monday–Friday. Candidates residing in the New England states are encouraged to apply.
