Founding Head of Ad Sales
You'll set the foundation of our ad sales team, defining sales process, pitch, pricing, and leading execution as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Own and close a pipeline of direct advertiser and agency deals.
- Create the ad sales strategy for a new format, including retention and upsell of existing customers.
- Codify GTM motion: outbound, pitch materials, pricing, legal, deal structures, etc.
- Leverage existing relationships and build new ones with senior buyers at brands and agencies.
- Build and lead the ad sales team: recruiting and hiring top talent.
- Represent Koah at industry events and in market conversations.
Qualifications
- 8‑15 years of experience in ad sales.
- Historically closed deals of $100k+ per month in ad spend.
- Experience selling into large brands, agencies, or performance marketing teams.
- Ability to be an individual contributor and manage a team.
- Background at a small startup.
- Existing advertising sales contact network.
- Comfortable with frequent product and playbook changes.
- AI‑native; proficiency with Claude and similar tools.
