divh2Area Sales Manager/h2pThe Area Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned business/transient/group/catering goals tied to the overall performance of certain hotels in the Phoenix/Tucson area. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts as well as maintaining existing clients/groups. The Area Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Regional Director of Sales and other members of the team to achieve the hotels revenue and market share goals for one or more properties./ppResponsibilities:/pulliEffectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals/liliClear understanding of the hotels business operations, brand, and revenue strategies./liliProactively conduct solicitation calls, prospect, generate contracts and conduct sales tours./liliMaintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details using Delphi.fdc/Amadeus./liliClear understanding of hotel systems, RFP process, and brand tools./liliMonitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market./liliMaintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations as applicable./liliResponsible for selling meeting space and detailing BEOs at properties with event space./liliAssist with the creation of annual Sales Marketing plans./liliAttend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and any other functions required by management./liliOperate the Sales Department within an established sales expense budget./li/ulpWe need someone who:/pulliIs energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated./liliHospitality Sales experience is a plus!/liliHas knowledge of the surrounding community and its current events./liliCommunicates effectively to create a great impression./liliHas a valid drivers license and insurance./li/ulpFlexible work from home options available./ppCompensation: $60,000.00 per year/ppWe provide the best in hospitality - to our employees and our guests.
