Production Technician

Production Technician - 1st Shift

The Production Technician performs hands-on manufacturing activities in a regulated environment, including mixing, blending, filling, labeling, and packaging products. This role sets up, operates, cleans, and maintains production equipment, follows standard operating procedures to ensure safe and accurate production, and supports basic in‑process testing and documentation. The position requires consistent attention to detail, the ability to work in cleanroom and aseptic environments, and a strong commitment to quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Responsibilities

Perform mixing, filling, labeling, packaging, and basic assembly tasks
Operate, clean, and maintain production equipment
Prepare solutions and support production line setup/teardown
Follow SOPs to ensure safe, accurate production
Complete batch records and electronic documentation
Conduct basic in-process quality checks
Work in cleanroom environments using proper techniques
Maintain a clean, organized workspace
Meet production goals while following safety standards
Required Skills

Manufacturing or production experience
Equipment operation and basic assembly skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
Familiarity with GMP or regulated environments
Basic computer and communication skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
