Overview
The Assistant Director of Creative Content, Video Specialist (Multimedia Specialist I) is responsible for promotional and game-day video content for Utah State Athletics. They will be a key member of the Creative Content Department. Duties include filming home events, creating content for external and internal use, managing archives, delivering footage for media requests, and providing leadership to student workers.

Responsibilities

Responsible for pre- and post-production elements, including editing, audio, and writing for original productions.

Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Edit recap videos for social media.

Meet quick turnarounds and deadlines to create high-quality videos and animations for offseason, recruiting, and social media content.

Travel with teams to film in-season and postseason events, or conference championships, and create social media content for promotion.

Create hype videos, intro videos, features, and other nonbroadcast original content.

Assist with creating content for web and social media channels following established brand guidelines.

Responsible for all equipment and maintenance, including but not limited to cameras, lights, batteries, SD cards, etc.

Coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments, including marketing, communications, advancement, coaching staffs, etc.

Additional duties include coordinating, capturing, producing, and distributing a wide variety of projects. These include weekly highlights and hype videos, recruiting visits, interviews, and various social media videos, all created with the goal of promoting Utah State Athletics and individual sport programs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

The position requires a flexible work schedule and travel based on events, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must have a creative and innovative technical mindset, be self-motivated, and resourceful.

Experience, extensive knowledge of, and ability to creatively shoot and edit video in an athletic environment.

Produce and edit videos using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Working knowledge of various professional camera brands.

Work collaboratively with other department staff on group projects.

Knowledge of NCAA rules and a commitment to adhere to all rules and regulations of Utah State University, the Pac-12 Conference, and the NCAA.
