Document Preparation Specialist

Blue Chip Talent, is seeking a skilled Document Preparation Specialist. This role is responsible for preparing physical files for digital conversion by reviewing documents and removing non-paper materials to ensure they are ready for scanning. The position supports a high-volume, large-scale records digitization project requiring dependable individuals who can work efficiently while handling large quantities of physical records. In this role, you can bring headphones and listen to music/podcasts while you work.Location: Auburn Hills, MISchedule: Monday-Friday, 7 am-4 pm (w/ 1-hour lunch)Compensation: $18/hourJob DutiesReview physical files to ensure documents are ready for digital scanningRemove non-paper materials such as staples, paper clips, binder clips, and sticky notesOrganize and maintain document order while preparing files for scanning workflowsHandle high volumes of physical records while maintaining accuracyIdentify and separate items that may interfere with the scanning processMaintain an organized workspace while processing document batchesFollow established procedures for document preparation and file handlingSkills & ExperienceAbility to perform repetitive manual tasks involving paper files and foldersAbility to lift and move standard file boxes or document stacks as neededAbility to pass required pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug test (not tested for marijuana)High school diploma or equivalentBlue Chip Talent is an award-winning and woman-owned talent solutions provider based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
