Job Description:

Handle daily management for assigned book of business
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded by maintaining ongoing communication
Establish and maintain a thorough knowledge of client organizations and products
Oversee budgeting, financial monitoring, and reconciliation of individual projects
Pursue and acquire new business within current accounts
Hire and train account management staff
Update senior management on account team activity
Assign and manage account team workload
Facilitate conflict resolution within and between departments
Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree is required
Twelve plus years of relevant job experience
Management experience in a publications and/or medical communications agency environment is required
The ability to quickly grasp and retain scientific and technical concepts is required
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and strong presentation skills are required
Business development skills are also required
