Director of Public Affairs

Leading governmental affairs and community engagement initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Public Affairs will manage relationships with stakeholders, oversee corporate giving strategies, and coordinate industry association engagement while working remotely.
Key responsibilities

Develops and implements state and local governmental relations strategies, including legislative tracking and stakeholder relationship management
Manages corporate giving strategies and budgets, aligning philanthropic investments with business objectives
Coordinates community engagement programs and ensures active participation in national industry associations

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Policy, Political Science, Public Affairs, or a related field
10 or more years of experience in governmental or public affairs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of governmental relations and community engagement practices
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and legislative monitoring
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage departmental functions
