This is a fast‑paced position ideal for someone who thrives on breaking entertainment news as it happens, with a focus on delivering timely, accurate, and engaging stories in the movie and television space. You’ll play a key role in keeping our audience informed during crucial evening hours, ensuring we never miss a beat in the 24/7 entertainment news cycle.

Your Responsibilities

Monitor trending news cycles, including casting announcements, trailers, release dates, renewals/cancellations, and celebrity updates

Ensure timely publication of relevant content aligned with SEO and engagement goals

Coordinate with editors and fellow writers to maintain consistent daily coverage

Follow editorial and formatting guidelines rigorously

Available weekday mornings, ideally 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST (weekend availability is a plus)

Available during Pacific Standard Time evening hours for breaking news and coverage needs (weekday availability required; weekend availability is a plus)

Consistent and timely payments

Experience and Skills

At least 1–2 years of experience in digital journalism or online publishing

Ability to independently write and publish clean, accurate news content on tight deadlines
