Are you passionate about student learning and excited about using emerging technology to improve how educational content is created? Do you enjoy shaping strong instructional experiences and ensuring high-quality learning materials reach students quickly and effectively?

We’re looking for content developers who combine strong instructional judgment with a product-oriented mindset. In this role, you will design and oversee the development of lesson content using subject expertise, AI tools, and collaborative workflows. You will guide content from concept to launch, ensuring it is engaging, accurate, and aligned to learning standards.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy shaping instructional products, engaging in learning experience feedback loops, and evaluating content quality at scale. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve both the content itself and the systems used to create it.

About the Role
This full-time position demands strong critical thinking skills and a deep passion for education. You will be responsible for—but not limited to—the following:

Design and oversee the creation of lesson materials across digital and print formats using AI-assisted content development workflows

Define strong instructional approaches, examples, and explanations for lessons and practice materials

Continuously improve prompts, workflows, and production processes to increase speed and quality

Achieve and maintain individual key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to production output and content quality

Collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams in sprint cycles to rapidly develop and iterate on instructional materials

Core Competencies

Strong instructional judgment when evaluating lessons, questions, and explanations

Deep understanding of instructional design, including standards alignment and test frameworks

Ownership mindset and responsibility for content from concept through launch

Product-oriented thinking that balances instructional quality, production speed, and student impact

Effective collaboration and communication skills within fast-moving sprint cycles

Ability to guide AI-assisted content creation through effective prompting, review, and iteration

Curiosity and comfort with emerging technologies and new workflow tools

Strong prioritization and project management skills in a production-driven environment

You consistently demonstrate strong editorial judgment by quickly identifying strong content, improving weak content, and ensuring instructional clarity.

You maintain clear communication across teams to ensure that content is completed on time and meets quality standards.

You receive high marks on key performance indicators (KPIs) and receive exemplary performance reviews from leadership.

Requirements

2+ years of experience developing educational content (curriculum development, assessment design, or instructional materials) outside of personal classroom use

Subject matter expert in English, Math, Science, or Social Studies

Strong understanding of key instructional concepts, including scaffolding and test‑taking strategies

Familiarity with standardized assessments such as ACT, SAT, and EOC/EOG

Ability to evaluate and refine instructional materials quickly and accuratelyReceptivity to feedback and ability to iterate quickly

Strong performance on standardized assessments (ACT/SAT) is a plus
