Job Summary
We are looking for a high-energy, driven SaaS seller with direct law enforcement experience who is eager to jump in, create pipeline, and help build momentum in a growing market. The right candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable prospecting, opening new doors, building relationships, and creating opportunities through consistent outbound effort and strong territory ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new relationships with law enforcement professionals and partners.
Build & maintain a high-performance sales pipeline, managing efficient & professional sales cycles and closing contracts.
Lead discovery with law enforcement agencies on their needs and present innovative new strategies to transform scheduling in their organization.
Travel to customer sites and attend trade shows.
Foster a professional sales culture of mutual benefit to both First Due and the customer.
Maintain current understanding of public safety industry, including software ecosystem, trends, performance indicators, competitive landscape, and business practices.
Qualifications
3+ years of direct experience selling SaaS software to law enforcement agencies.
Proven track record of building pipeline and creating new opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and territory development.
Demonstrated hunter mentality with the ability to open doors, create momentum, and grow a developing territory.
Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Experience presenting to command staff, operations leaders, IT teams, and other key stakeholders within law enforcement agencies.
Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding quota goals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced remote environment.
Collaborative approach to working cross‑functionally with marketing, product, solutions consulting, implementation, and customer success teams.
Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools.
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
