Job Summary

The CRM and Lifecycle Marketing Director is responsible for managing the company’s prospect and investor marketing data, driving database engagement through email marketing and other tactics, audience segmentation, personalization, as well as reporting and analytics. This is a perfect position for a rising marketing star who is interested in building plans at a strategic level, then rolling up their sleeves and getting it done. The ideal candidate is a highly organized executor with strong abilities in multiple areas, including CRM engagement and email marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities

Own and optimize the management of prospect and investor data : Ensure accurate, up-to-date, and actionable data across CRM and email marketing, SMS, and chatbot platforms. Implement processes for data hygiene, enrichment, and compliance with privacy regulations to support strategic marketing initiatives.
Lead audience segmentation strategy : Analyze behavioral, demographic, and transactional data to create meaningful audience segments. Develop and iterate segmentation models that enable targeted, relevant communications across the entire customer lifecycle.
Design and execute personalized marketing campaigns : Collaborate with Marketing Content Manager, Marketing Senior Director, COO, and Agency Partners to develop personalized content strategies based on segment insights. Leverage marketing automation tools to deliver tailored messaging that drives engagement and conversions.
Create, measure, and optimize performance across segments : Track KPIs such as engagement rates, conversion, and ROI for each segment and campaign. Use analytics to identify opportunities for refinement and work with data and creative teams to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
Manage digital marketing agency partners as well as data and analytics partners : Collaborate closely with external agencies to align audience targeting, messaging strategy, and campaign execution across paid digital channels. Ensure agency efforts are informed by internal data insights and segmentation strategies, and contribute to a cohesive, results-driven marketing approach.

Email, Chatbot, and SMS Marketing
Lead the execution of email, chatbot, and SMS marketing campaigns : Collaborate closely with the Marketing Content Manager to transform strategic content into engaging, visually appealing email, SMS, and chatbot communications for ad hoc and nurture campaigns. Select appropriate formatting, layout, and design elements to maximize clarity, impact, and brand consistency.
Develop and manage templates in relevant systems : Build and maintain modular, responsive templates aligned with brand standards. Maintain and organize dynamic content blocks to streamline future campaign builds and improve personalization capabilities.
Own list management and stakeholder coordination : Curate and segment audience lists using CRM and Pardot data. Coordinate campaign approvals and compliance reviews with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and accuracy prior to deployment.
Test, launch, and optimize performance : Conduct A/B testing and quality assurance across devices and platforms before deployment. Analyze open rates, click-throughs, conversions, and other KPIs to generate insights and recommendations for the continuous improvement of future campaigns.
Performance Analytics
Create, define, and own performance metrics across email, SMS, and chatbot channels : Establish and maintain clear KPIs for each marketing program and channel—including email, paid media, website forms, webinars, and partnerships—to evaluate effectiveness in driving qualified leads and investor engagement.
Track and analyze campaign and channel performance : Monitor key performance indicators such as open rates, click-throughs, form submissions, conversion rates, and cost-per-lead across all digital touchpoints. Develop and maintain reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Work closely to interpret and manage reports and data provided by agency partners.
Evaluate trends and emerging opportunities : Stay informed on best practices and evolving trends. Recommend new tools or tactics that could improve acquisition, nurture workflows, and overall ROI.
Optimize marketing efforts through data-driven insights : Use campaign results, A/B testing, segmentation performance, and funnel analytics to uncover opportunities for refinement. Apply findings to improve targeting, content strategy, and lead qualification processes for continual growth and efficiency.
Pipeline Evolution Driven by Insight : Continuously assess prospect and customer behaviors to inform the evolution of the marketing and sales pipeline. Apply learnings and data-driven insights to refine pipeline strategy, ensuring it adapts over time to remain aligned with audience needs and engagement patterns. Optimize each stage for maximum impact, efficiency, and conversion effectiveness.
Strategic Insight and Executive Reporting : Translates complex data into compelling, executive-level narratives that clearly convey key trends, outcomes, and opportunities. Craft insightful, actionable recommendations grounded in performance analytics. Distills findings into concise summaries that empower senior leadership to make data-driven decisions quickly and confidently.
Experience & Other Qualifications

10+ years of experience in progressive marketing roles.
Relevant experience in database engagement and email marketing.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, CRM solutions, and email marketing tools. Previous experience with Salesforce.com, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement/Pardot, Canva, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite (or similar systems) is helpful.
Strong project management skills with outstanding attention to detail.

This position will work remotely and collaborate using tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Compensation package commensurate with experience and proven track record. Budget for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 salary, plus discretionary annual bonus eligibility
