Digital Communications Coordinator (Remote - North America)

Accountabilities
Responsibilities
Develop, draft, and edit content for digital channels including news stories, newsletters, emails, and social media, ensuring alignment with brand voice and communication goals
Design and produce digital assets using tools like Canva, and perform basic photo and video editing to enhance visual storytelling
Manage digital publishing workflows, including scheduling content via social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social) and supporting web updates through content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Maintain content calendars, track campaign performance, and support community engagement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns and consistent messaging across channels
Assist with monitoring and reporting on content effectiveness to inform future strategy
Qualifications
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
Experience creating content for news, email, and social media platforms
Proficiency in Canva or equivalent design tools
Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social)
Basic experience with content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Ability to perform basic photo and video editing to enhance digital storytelling
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in communications, marketing, or digital media roles
Interest in higher education and mission-driven communications
