The Applications Analyst III supervises and provides technical guidance to staff in developing specifications for new or revised systems.
Responsibilities
Possesses full technical knowledge of applications analysis and supervises instructing, assigning, directing, and checking the work of other Applications Analysts.
Assists in planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the section.
Works with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes, and participates in application design, testing, and implementation across diverse platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools.
Coordinates activities of the section with other IT sections such as database, telecommunications, operations, and technical support.
Acts as an expert technical resource to development staff throughout all phases of development and implementation.
Assists in supervision and may perform management functions in the absence of the Manager.
May act as a project leader.
Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience:
At least five years of diverse, solid experience in IT.
Epic Willow Ambulatory and/or Willow Inpatient Certification and experience are required.
Willow Ambulatory experience is highly preferred.
Position is in Non-Bargaining Unit, 291 - DTP Clinical Applications And Training - MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $99,200 - $148,800 annually, depending on experience, education, and operational needs. This range complies with the NYC Law on Salary Transparency. Additional bonuses or incentives are not included in this range.
