Content Writer & SEO Specialist

to join our fully remote team.

Role Overview
As a Content Writer & SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic, improves search rankings, and educates our users about invoicing, finance, and business management. You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to develop a robust content strategy aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Research, plan, and write high-quality blog articles, landing pages, and help center content related to invoicing, billing, and small business finance

Develop and execute an SEO content strategy to increase organic traffic to Online Invoice

Conduct thorough keyword research using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console

Optimize existing content for on-page SEO, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking

Monitor content performance using Google Analytics and Search Console, and report on key metrics monthly

Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure content is properly formatted and published

Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices

Identify and capitalize on content gap opportunities relative to competitors

Requirements

2+ years of professional experience in content writing and SEO, preferably in a SaaS, fintech, or productivity tools environment

Demonstrated track record of increasing organic search traffic through content creation

Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar, clarity, and tone

Hands‑on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar)

Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO principles

Ability to translate complex financial and business concepts into accessible, engaging content

Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms

Nice to Have

Experience with invoicing, accounting, or business finance topics

Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics for content formatting

Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles

Experience working in a fast‑paced startup environment
