– a full‑time position reporting to the VP Product Strategy, working onsite in Miami.

Position Summary
The Lead, Experience Development serves as product owner for guest experiences, shaping the future of Celebrity Cruises by transforming product vision into high‑quality, guest‑centric journeys. The Lead partners with cross‑functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver innovative concepts across ships and destinations, ensuring every sensory touchpoint is seamless, intuitive, and aligned with the brand’s promise.

Based in Miami, FL, the Lead oversees the day‑to‑day development, execution, and delivery of new concepts, experiences, and programs for Celebrity Cruises. They translate the product vision into a thoughtful, intuitive guest journey while driving cross‑functional workstreams to execute every sensory touchpoint flawlessly.

The Lead champions the guest experience, ensuring products are operationally, technically, and financially feasible and leads workshops, presentations, and compelling case development to influence critical decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Own approved concept strategies and business cases through launch, breaking them into detailed, actionable plans and driving cross‑functional execution.

Lead all aspects from experience ideation, development, documentation, and execution with partners in Design, Operations, F&B, Entertainment, Onboard Revenue, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and more.

Create guest experience briefs and playbooks in detailed presentations outlining the guest journey and each component needed to bring the vision to life.

Serve as the primary source of the product vision and requirements for leadership, partners, and stakeholders.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to define and deliver on requirements throughout development and execution.

Work with partners to assess operational, technical, and financial feasibility, identifying solutions to feasibility challenges and driving alignment.

Identify opportunities to further product development during the process.

Lead documentation, review, and approval of briefs and support materials.

Communicate changes, updates, and priority shifts to cross‑functional teams and keep direct management informed.

Collaborate with operations and design teams on run‑of‑show events to showcase programming and ensure experience delivery aligns with the product vision.

Work with Marketing, Public Relations, and Revenue Management to ensure accurate brand communication.

Establish startup plans and training materials for flawless execution of each concept.

Track and monitor startup plans, developing training materials, SOPs, or playbooks to ensure flawless execution onboard ships.

Ensure onboard and onshore product delivery aligns with vision and playbooks.

Own and manage product and experience audit, post‑delivery success monitoring, and metrics defined for success criteria.

Support process and governance for guest‑facing product changes under Operational Excellence standards.

If applicable, manage direct reports, including hiring, training, and development.

Coaching and development of team members to execute experiences for the brand.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

Minimum 2–3 years in a product, design, or similar role developing physical products or customer experiences.

Experience working with architects, designers, creative & innovation consultants a plus.

Experience in the travel industry a plus.

Proven success in a fast‑paced environment with demanding timelines.

Experience developing products grounded in consumer‑insight‑driven strategies.

Exceptional verbal and written communication and project/program leadership skills.

Ability to assemble, lead, and influence cross‑functional teams.

Strong storytelling ability for partners and collaborators.

Skill in documenting and packaging detailed operational requirements.

Obsessive attention to detail and follow‑through; every detail matters.

Self‑starter with ability to propose initiatives and solutions independently.

Methodical approach to research, prioritization, and implementation.

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
