Prime Digital is a paid search agency, founder‑led, operating for 12 years. We focus on Google Ads for service‑based businesses and a small roster of e‑commerce brands across the UK and US.

The Role
We’re hiring our next Senior Google Ads Strategist. This role is fully remote and open to candidates internationally, with the right timezone overlap and native or near‑native English. If you’re at an agency where quality has given way to volume, or where the tools and processes haven’t moved on in years, this is probably worth a read.

How We Think About the Job
Most agencies draw a line around the ad account and call that the scope. We don’t. Our view is that customer acquisition encompasses the whole path, which includes:

Getting the right person to the site

Presenting the business as the solution to what they need

Ensuring follow‑up and sales process closes the loop

Google Ads is one part of that. We take this kind of work because we believe that a strategist who only thinks about the ad account is solving the wrong problem.

Role Overview
You’d work directly with Christian (founder, 15 years in strategic marketing) and Luke, our other senior strategist. You’d manage 10 to 15 active accounts: a mix of higher‑touch strategic accounts on a weekly rhythm and steady‑state accounts on a monthly rhythm. Monthly budgets range from £2,000 to £50,000. Verticals include:

Lead‑gen across legal, home services, tech, and SaaS

Some e‑commerce

How the Role Splits

50% strategy and performance: diagnosing accounts, building roadmaps, owning the numbers

30% client management: calls, quarterly reviews, strategic planning

15% hands‑on execution: builds, optimisations, in‑platform work

5% internal: contributing to how we work

You’d be expected to think strategically about your accounts and own the calls that move performance. You wouldn’t be expected to lead agency‑level strategy, as Christian and Luke do that.

How We Work
Most agencies use AI the way they’d use an intern. We’ve built it in as infrastructure. Over the last year, we’ve developed a set of custom AI tools that run systematic parts of our workflow, allowing strategic thinking to take priority.

Our proprietary reporting platform allows us to optimise the full conversion path, not just the ad account. You’d be part of the development of these systems.

Who We Work With
We collaborate with service businesses and e‑commerce brands where a clear value proposition exists and a substantial budget is available for measurable impact.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years running Google Ads, ideally agency‑side

Strong with Search and PMax, familiar with modern Google Ads toolkit

Lead‑gen experience, ideally within our verticals

Proven ability to improve underperforming accounts

Good in client conversations, even the harder ones

Thinks about the full funnel, not just the ad account

Experience using AI in your workflow or a keen interest in it

Located with at least five hours of overlap with GMT working hours

Compensation and Package

£40,000 base salary
