Japanese Content Editor

We are looking for a Japanese content editor to create useful and intriguing content for our users.
The main work involves curating Japanese language videos, transcribing captions, annotating words (defining words and writing example sentences), adapting to new software, and collaborating with other editors to provide language learning services.
Job Details

Creating Japanese learning content
Adapting new software (previous experience with Asana and/or Slack is a plus)
Cooperation with other editors

We’re a 100% distributed/remote team
All communication is text-based (mostly via Asana) in a low-stress environment
We prioritize clear communication and logic-based decision making
Job Requirements

A love of language education and a belief in its impact
Knowledge of Japanese language and language learning (good understanding of Japanese grammar and structures)
At least 1 year of experience in Japanese education/translation or linguistic fields
Strong editing skills and attention to detail
The ability to work remotely with a team and have a self-driven, productive attitude
Strong written communication skills and a stable commitment to work 15-20 hours per week on a regular basis
Please note that there will be a test simulating actual FluentU work, and the first 90 days are a trial period. Passing the trial will result in an ongoing position at our company.
