Responsibilities

Edit news reports to ensure accuracy, speed, and editorial reliability.

Adapt and update reports in real time as stories evolve, integrating new information while preserving narrative flow and editorial consistency.

Write captions and manage content publishing across all This Is Beirut social media platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Native level language proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Experience in journalism, editing, and/or research related to Lebanon and the Middle East.

Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms.

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
