Copywriting Intern

We are looking for a Copywriting Intern to join our direct marketing agency to assist us in creating and managing content for non-profit organizations. This position is flexible with hours and days, but the ideal applicant must commit to working at least 16 hours per week. Letters of recommendation are provided, and this position offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills.

We offer support and training, but in order to qualify for this position you must have strong customer service skills, organization skills, and a willingness to make some serious money. We also expect you to be results-oriented, flexible, and outgoing. The ideal candidate will be a great listener and a self-motivated team player with a positive mindset.

Responsibilities

Develop website and printed content, including product descriptions, product comparisons, company information, advertisements, manuals, faqs, etc

Develop content for e-mail campaigns, social media, special events, sales and promotions, etc

Develop and managing blog posts, official announcements and press releases

Coordinate content creation and placement

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Very strong understanding of web presence

Ability to adapt quickly to changes and new projects

Strong research experience and proofreading skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Ability to grasp technical concepts and convey them in a simple, friendly manner

Ability to type 50+ words per minute

Strong computer and Internet skills

Exceptional phone skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Education/Experience

Previous internship experience preferred
