What You’ll Do
Cultural Consultation

Advise on 1980s American lifestyle: fashion, music, slang, social norms, and school culture

Ensure authentic representation of the era's atmosphere and aesthetic

Provide insights into daily life, social dynamics, and youth culture of the period

✍️ Creative Writing & Narrative Support

Develop or advise on character arcs, dialogue, and story structure

Craft romantic, youthful, and emotionally resonant narratives

Write or polish in‑game copy, item descriptions, and character lines

Maintain a warm, nostalgic, romantic, and lightly comedic narrative tone

Game Narrative Collaboration

Work with our creative team to integrate cultural authenticity into gameplay

Provide guidance on interactive storytelling and player emotional journey

Help shape narrative choices that resonate with our target audience

Ideal Candidate

Professional background as an author, screenwriter, freelance writer, or content creator

Deep knowledge of 1980s American culture, society, and lifestyle

Strong understanding of 1980s American high school life and youth culture

Ability to capture the era's aesthetic and emotional texture in writing

Native or near‑native English proficiency with strong literary sensibility

Nice to Have

Experience with game narrative design or interactive storytelling

Passion for romance, coming‑of‑age, light fantasy, or emotionally driven storytelling

Understanding of audience preferences and emotional touchpoints for narrative‑driven games

Portfolio demonstrating 1980s‑themed creative work
