About This Position
We’re hiring a media buyer to own paid acquisition across a pod of 5-8 clients spending a combined $100k+ per day, primarily on Meta. You’ll sit inside a cross‑functional pod with a strategist, copywriter, and PM, and you’ll be the person responsible for managing the effectiveness of every dollar in those ad accounts.
You are responsible for deciding how campaigns get structured, what gets tested and why, when to scale, and whether the data you’re using for optimization is reliable. You understand funnel metrics well enough to reverse‑engineer what your cost per lead (CPL) needs to be to hit revenue targets. You are adept at assessing safe scaling compared to more aggressive initiatives based on situational needs.
You will also interact with clients, presenting performance updates, answering queries about platform changes, and providing updates on pacing and results in understandable terms.
What Success Looks Like
Proactive communication with team members regarding wins, problems, and recommendations.
Providing accurate data updates to the copywriter prior to meetings.
Explaining the rationale behind every decision made within the ad accounts.
Using internal forecasting tools to communicate needs well in advance.
Cross‑referencing diverse data sources to ensure accuracy and dependability.
A Day In This Role
Your day begins with a quick pulse check across all accounts before a morning standup with the pod, followed by immediate optimization decisions based on performance. Throughout your day, you are responsible for ad disapprovals, billing issues, and any queries from clients.
Later on, you check back in on the accounts to monitor shifts in performance and make necessary adjustments.
Experience & Requirements
2+ years of media buying experience managing significant daily spend.
Proficiency in Meta Ads and familiarity with Google Ads is a strong plus.
Experience with third‑party attribution and reporting platforms.
Understanding of funnel metrics and how they connect to business outcomes.
Experience with campaign launches and their specific requirements.
Comfortable being client‑facing with clear communication skills.
