As a UI Engineer, you will be at the intersection of design and technology, responsible for developing engaging and user-friendly interface components for our games. You will collaborate closely with artists and designers to transform concepts into functional elements while ensuring optimal performance and a cohesive user experience.
Key Duties Include

Implement and maintain user interface systems within the game engine, ensuring high-quality performance.
Collaborate with design and art teams to create and optimise UI elements and components.
Translate design mockups and prototypes into functional user interfaces.
Optimise UI layouts for different screen sizes and resolutions.
Debug and troubleshoot UI-related issues throughout the development process.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in UI development.
Qualifications

Previous experience as a UI Engineer or similar role in the gaming or tech industry.
Proficient in C++ for UI development.
Familiar with Unreal Engine.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion for video games and keen attention to detail.
