All About the Graphic Designer Role

The Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping the visual identity of Belmont Park and its attractions, events, and experiences. This position is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing creative assets across print, digital, signage, merchandise, and social media platforms. Working within established brand guidelines, the Graphic Designer also supports the development of new visual identities and creative concepts that enhance guest engagement and brand recognition.
Your Role at Belmont Park

As a Graphic Designer, you help bring the Belmont Park experience to life through creative and visually compelling design. By supporting marketing campaigns, operational initiatives, and brand development efforts, you play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences while maintaining the visual integrity of the Belmont Park brand.
What You'll Be Doing

Design & Creative Production

Conceptualize, design, and produce marketing and promotional materials across print and digital platforms
Create signage, advertisements, social media graphics, merchandise designs, and other branded assets
Ensure all creative materials maintain consistency with established brand guidelines
Develop visually engaging designs that support marketing campaigns and guest engagement initiatives
Brand Development

Support the creation and enhancement of branding and visual identities for new concepts and experiences
Ensure all creative work aligns with Belmont Park’s aesthetic, voice, and strategic goals
Project Management

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Prioritize tasks effectively while meeting project deadlines and production schedules
Maintain organized project files, templates, and creative assets for efficient future use
Work closely with the Creative Manager and cross‑functional teams on marketing and operational initiatives
Contribute innovative design ideas and creative solutions during campaign planning and development
Communicate project progress, timelines, and design updates effectively with stakeholders
Quality Control & Production

Review and refine creative materials to ensure accuracy and high-quality output
Prepare print‑ready files and oversee production deliverables
Coordinate with vendors to ensure final products meet quality and brand expectations
Trend Awareness & Innovation

Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving design techniques
Continuously seek opportunities to improve creative processes and visual storytelling

What You Bring

Previous experience in graphic design, marketing design, or creative production preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design work
Understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual design principles
Experience preparing files for print production and digital distribution preferred
Ability to work evenings, weekends, or special events when needed

Able to stand, walk, and sit for 8 hours in a single day.
Skills/Qualifications

3–5 years of proven work experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a marketing or brand‑focused environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing completed design projects that demonstrate creativity, technical expertise, and measurable impact.
Expert‑level experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to drive the creative process from concept to final execution, delivering high‑quality, original designs.
Strong aesthetic sensibility, typographic skills, and attention to detail.
Exceptional focus and precision in design execution.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, take feedback constructively, and communicate ideas effectively.
Ability to think critically, adapt to project needs, and provide innovative design solutions.
Expected Hours of Work

Flexible scheduling, including peak business hours, weekends, holidays, and evenings. Availability for at least two out of three weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is required.
Testing/Work Authorization
