UX Writer
We are seeking a UX Writer to create digital content strategies and messaging that help solve member problems, communicate the value of the client, and achieve business goals. This role will independently leverage human-centered design, user testing, content design principles, omnichannel content strategy, SEO best practices, accessibility, and client brand and style guidelines to help create digital member experiences.
Responsibilities:
Create user experience writing for client digital channels, including the website, mobile app, emails, text messages, and push notifications.
Read and analyze business requirements to create necessary content.
Use strategic thinking to suggest content strategy solutions.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and design teams to create user experiences.
Work in a fast-paced environment and complete projects within 1 to 7 days based on complexity.
Use Figma to create content and layout; MS Word may also be used.
Use SEMrush for keyword research.
Use Google Analytics to review data on page performance.
Required Skills:
User experience writing or content design, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Strong familiarity with SEO, AP style, and style guides, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Experience working with subject matter experts and design teams to create user experiences.
Knowledge of Figma, MS Word, and Google Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
All candidates must submit a portfolio for review.
UX writing certification is a plus.
UX design or UX research certifications are not a substitute.
Intermediate use of design systems or content management systems is a plus.
Intermediate knowledge of Figma is a plus.
Experience in financial or insurance services is a plus.
