Responsibilities
Plan, conduct, and synthesize UX research activities, including user interviews, task analysis, journey mapping, usability testing, and data‑driven insights.
Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations, user requirements, and experience frameworks.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI designs using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
Work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define features, refine workflows, and support product strategy.
Present research insights, design decisions, and rationale clearly and persuasively to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Contribute to or evolve design systems, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability across products.
Ensure designs align with accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices.
Support complex, data‑rich, or analytical user workflows with thoughtful interaction models and information architecture.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
Proven experience conducting UX research, synthesizing insights, and applying them to design solutions.
Strong proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or comparable design and prototyping tools.
Experience collaborating closely with key stakeholders such as product managers and engineering teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design choices and research findings.
Desired Qualifications:
A strong portfolio showcasing UX research process, insight synthesis, and high‑quality UI design execution.
Experience designing for government, mission‑critical, or high‑security environments.
Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Experience contributing to or managing design systems.
Understanding of modern front‑end frameworks and component‑based design constraints.
Background in supporting data‑heavy or analytical user workflows, including dashboards, analysis tools, or complex system interfaces.
