Who We Are
Honeycombers, Singapore’s most trusted lifestyle media brand, is launching a new wellness website. We’re building the go-to destination for evidence-backed health literacy for women aged 30–55. Our content spans three pillars: Restoration (hormones, gut health, nutrition), Radiance (skin, longevity, ageing well), and Regulation (nervous system, stress, sleep).

Designed as a community-forward experience, the pillar blends expert-led insights with lifestyle-first storytelling that translates complex topics into approachable, conversational content.

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced freelance writer with a strong background in the health, wellness and beauty space to support the content pipeline. This role is ideal for someone who is plugged into the industry, understands how to balance SEO with storytelling, and has access to a network of credible experts in Singapore.

You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, expert-backed articles, independently sourcing and interviewing relevant voices, and delivering content that is engaging, accurate, and aligned with Honeycombers’ voice and style.

Key Responsibilities
Editorial & Content Creation

Write 5 articles per month across health, beauty and wellness topics

Translate SEO keywords into engaging, reader-friendly stories

Balance experiential storytelling with credible, evidence-backed expert input

Distil complex health topics into accessible, lifestyle-led content

Ensure all content aligns with Honeycomber’s tone: smart, warm, and never preachy

Submit clean, well-structured drafts requiring minimal edits

Expert Sourcing & Research

Independently identify, reach out to, and interview credentialed experts (dermatologists, nutritionists, wellness practitioners, etc.)

Leverage existing industry contacts where possible

Ensure accuracy and credibility, especially for health-related topics (while keeping content accessible and not overly clinical)

Content Collaboration

Work closely with the Honeycombers team on article direction, angles, and timelines

Be open to feedback and revisions where needed

Flag emerging trends or timely topics within the wellness space

Who We’re Looking For

Proven experience writing in the health, beauty, or wellness space (published work required)

Strong understanding of SEO-driven content and how to make educational topics engaging and conversational

Existing network of wellness/beauty experts would be a strong advantage

Ability to independently source, pitch, and execute story ideas

Comfortable with writing about personal experiences and creating expert-led content

Reliable, self-directed, and able to meet deadlines
